Stop elephants with bees | Mama Hive | Tanzania
In Mafuluto, on the edge of Ruaha National Park, farmers have lost entire harvests to elephants overnight. The solution is extraordinary – and bee-sized. A community of 60 beekeepers is building a 6km beehive fence that elephants are genuinely terrified to cross, while producing honey and beeswax as a new income stream for women in the village.
