Keep your Beeswax Candles burning beautifully and lasting longer with these simple tips:

Trim the Wick

Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to 1/4inch (6mm) long. This prevents excess smoke and ensures an even burn. Check the wick periodically, especially during longer burns, trim if necessary.

Burn in Intervals

Allow the candle to burn for at least 1-2 hours the first time, or until the entire top layer of wax has melted. This prevents tunnelling (where only the centre of the candle burns down.) and helps maintain an even burn throughout it’s life.

Avoid Drafts

Place your beeswax candle in a draft-free area. Breezes from windows and fans can cause uneven burning and excess smoke.
